Eat whatever you want during the holiday and don’t gain weight??

Whaaaaat? Ha – we all know how the holiday drill goes year in and year out…. I’m not saying it’s easy, but it is doable.

The next 6-weeks are the MOST challenging of the year in my opinion, and honestly indulging on the holiday is NOT the problem. The problem is the leftovers, the get-togethers, the food everyone so generously brings into work to share – damn people, please leave that stuff at home!

So here is what I’m going to do…  I’m going to work a little harder, be a little smarter about my cheats, and make a plan.

There is no reason you can’t indulge a little and enjoy yourself, but what you CAN’T do is stop everything else.

You still need to eat as clean as possible on the days you don’t have planned cheats, you still have to get your exercise in, you still need to make time for yourself and take care of yourself.

Right now I want you to STOP and plan what the next 6- weeks are going to look like for you. Family/ work gathering, lunches with friends and anything else that is outside of the norm during the holiday season. Then I want you to build a plan around that.

I already know I am having whatever I want on the holiday, I love stuffing and gravy and pie.  Oh and I love me a piece of pie the next morning for breakfast – its tradition, but after that all left overs and junk are out of the house.

If you’re looking for a great holiday workout, check out my husband’s blog and me staring in his Turkey Day workout extravaganza – oy, he kicked my butt!

I hope you all have a wonderful day with family, friends, pets or whoever you choose to spend the day with. Hugs!
