How my blog will help you transform your body!

What a whirlwind of a week it’s been in here! First – Unlocking the Secret to Success with Knowledge, then – The Best Motivational blog you’ll ever Read and now this .- How My Blog will Help you Transform your Body – WOW!

But first let me share what you won’t find in here –

1. I am not a foodie….. So you will not find recipes – Sorry, but I pretty much eat the same thing every day – dinner is the only thing that changes and I usually have the same meal on the same day of the week – unless we go out, but then it’s usually same restaurant and the same meal 😉 but here is what you can go to if you are looking for some great healthy food ideas…

  • Check out my friend MB’s site – she is a huge foodie and has posted some amazing recipes and pictures of what she’s made http://www.marybessdalton.blogspot.com/ –  honestly she should be a photographer for a food magazine.
  • Sheila Viers – another huge foodie – Sheila has actually created her own cookbook Eatwell 360 after being hounded by all of us to do so, but she also has plenty of yummy ideas on her site www.livewell360.com
  • Check out Gavan Murphy – the Healthy Irishman, well I like to call him the sexy Irishman 😉 he has some food ideas you can really sink your teeth into at http://gavanmurphy.com. And he and his very very beautiful Mrs. are expecting their first child in the very near future – congrats you two!!
  • Oh and this one I kinda stumbled upon but love it! So if you’re looking for some great healthy snacks -check out the healthy snack girl – http://www.snack-girl.com 

2. I am not a personal trainer, but I am married to one 😉 He makes sure all the “I’s” are dotted and “T’s” are crossed in my blog in this area  – You can check him out at www.mark1fitness.com

Ok enough of that – now to the good stuff… What you CAN expect to find!!

  • Some kick a$$ video’s – actually videos of me getting my a$$ kicked under my video section. Most of my workouts include the use of the Valslide – so if you don’t have a pair and want some you can order them here. Love them!
  • Some very honest blogs on my personal thoughts, feelings and struggles. As a woman about to turn 50, in full menopause, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a full-time corporate employee, with a few part-time hobbies jobs – Licensed Facialist, MaryKay Cosmetic consultant, Blogger, creator of Body Transformation 101: Unlocking the secret to success… I get the job done – which you can see in my many, many mini challenges.
  • You will find lots of information on how to be consistent, how to plan, how to stay motivated, how hormones effect weight loss, how to find balance, how to put yourself first, how to find joy in your life, how the media impacts our body image, why you can’t out train a bad diet –  etc. etc, etc. for a quick overview click here to see my first 100 blogs!

Remember I said that knowledge is power – well the knowledge you find in here is what’s going to help you to transform your body – and all you have to do is two things – 1. is to set a weekly plan and 2. is to consistently follow that plan. Of course, planning and being consistent are probably the two hardest things to do in the world right? – but I have some little tricks to help you out. 😉
