ooooo – Check me out!! Wow – I finally did it! I am in the Rodenbush Community Center brochure for two – 4 week sessions at the end of the year!! (to register click here) Here’s the class description:
Week 2 – We will discuss diet and exercise, but first I want to make it clear that I am not a nutritionist – I’m more like a food coach… I know what has worked for me and have seen what has worked for many others. We will review a healthy food pyramid, discuss proteins, carbs, fats, fiber, the importance of water, how alcohol works in the body, preparation, portion control and planning – .Second we will discuss exercise – The Best form of exercise to lose body-fat and transform your body – *Resistance Training*… This part of the program was written for me by my husband Mark of Mark One Fitness, who is a certified personal trainer.
Week 3 – We will talk about body image, self-nurturing, well-being, self-appreciation – what they are and how to implement them into your life. Then we will review three hormones that can affect your weight: Lepton – the hunger hormone, Gremlin – the fullness hormone, and Cortisol-the stress hormone – We will discuss what fuels them and some things that can help manage them.
Week 4 – We will look at ways to help you rediscover your passions, help you recreate a vision for your life, and ways to help you stay motivated.
I am very excited to have this opportunity to share what I’ve learned and has worked for me!This program is a combination of my Coaching and Motivational Techniques, Celebrity Fitness Trainer, Valerie Waters Red Carpet Ready Principals, who I’ve been lucky enough to work with and learn from over the past two and 1/2 years, and my husband Mark’s 20 plus years of personal training knowledge and unwavering support – both to whom I credit my personal success in transforming my body!
This journey was a trip to say the least, and that journey continues. I know exactly how some of you feel, I’ve been there. Working out and dieting without a plan, I could never seem to change my body. It took me a while, but I now understand what it takes to make those changes. And the best part of this is – it is never too late, don’t let age hold you back. I never imagined at 48 years old I could get in better shape then when I was 28 – and I’m not an ex-athlete or gym rat who works out for 2 hours a day. I’m a wife, mother, grandmother 🙂 like many of you. I work full-time have stress and struggle like everyone else.
Remember body-transformation goes beyond just diet and exercise. If you’re in the Westford area come join me for this exciting personal development opportunity. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the class at leeanne.hebert@verizon.net.
