Thin Thighs for Summer!!!!

We all want them right?!? I know I do – and I’ll tell you how I’m getting mine, cause right now they are not so thin!!

First – if you don’t have a pair of Valslides you MUST get a pair! These little green disks helped me lose 5 inches off my hips and 3.5 inches off each thigh. Valslide®, created by Valerie Waters, personal trainer to Hollywood ’s elite was created with every level of fitness in mind.  They are specifically designed for flowing, controlled range of motion that activates the muscles that lifts your butt and slim your thighs. Honestly, it was the best $30 I ever spent. Click HERE to order a pair of your own right now – I promise you won’t regret it!!

Second – you need to incorporate full body workouts, but if your legs are falling behind you may you may need to find some great workouts that target the lower body and rotate them in. Just recently Val posted the leg bomb workout. This workout is killer – I loved it!  Another great leg workout that my husband Mark from MarkOne Fitness introduced me to, the JC Leg Cranks – which what he calls  finishers – and they finish you alright!  (The above two are advanced – please pay attention to your body and start at half the reps if you need to)

Third – In addition to using the Valslide to tone mix interval training, and distance training or running. Running is probably one of the worst exercises for men if they want to build quads and one of the best exercises for women with this goal – why? because long-distance running shrinks your thighs –  doing intervals and running 3 miles a couple of time a week got me my leanest thighs to date!

and lastly – clean processed food and junk out of your diet because we are what we eat 😉

Remember you can’t just spot reduce, so just working legs is out of the question. For your thighs, especially your inner thighs, to become leaner, thinner and tighter and yes, even cellulite free – your overall body fat must be reduced through a combination of proper nutrition, exercise and consistency (we just can’t get away for that word can we). Your food plan MUST be clean. Eating clean means frequent healthy meals and snacks to control blood sugar levels and slightly reducing calories – eating more fibrous food is a great way to do this.

FYI – I am not a personal trainer, but I am married to one.  He makes sure all my “I’s” are dotted and “T’s” are crossed. Check him out at www.mark1fitness.com
