Sunday – Day 7
OK – yesterday was a COMPLETE day off – food and exercises-wise- I did get the ab workout in but not the $30 treadmill – and actually my food was good up until after dinner – ended with some coffee yogurt and 2 large PB cups smooched in it —- hmm any way – I think I just needed a break.. Chyrstal and the baby came last night so I completely cleaned the house – that – was a workout in itself….
This morning – mark wanted pancakes so I had one – but now I’m back to it – ab workout coming up and then something – not sure what – with the little chicken here it will be hard to focus –
5 positives –
1. New business cards came in!!
2. Spa room set up !!
3. Had a fun sleep over !!
4. Spending the day with my two best girls and have my aunt and sister over to see them…
5. Bringing Charlee to meet Mark’s mom and aunt for the first time this afternoon!!
Monday – Day 8
Morning ladies…. Had a really fun weekend with the baby -but did get involved in a little self sabotage with food, etc after… my emotions got the best of me and I just cracked – I really need to figure out how to handle things a little better – don’t I
Any way – all is right with the world today… and with only 5 days left until beach bunny time – I really need to take out the big gun this week – yes, lemon water not a huge fan of it, but it does work on my craving, appetite, etc…. and when all is said and done I will be on the beach feeling pretty good about myself – so very worth it…
Workout –
AM – Abs
Lunch – lower body blast – oy
PM – Abs
Food –
egg whites / green beans
Smoothie 1/2 scoop whey protein / 1/2 cup fage yogurt – trying something new – not sure if I like it yet …
Lunch 2 cups of Salad, shrimp, 1/3 cup brown rice
snack – apple and almonds
Dinner – turkey tenders, green beans and salad.

1. didn’t get trapped by Mark’s 8:00 AM Boot camp girls
2. All the tiger lilys are out – so pretty
3. got the first cup of Jo this morning – right place, right time…
4. Put my pics of baby’s visit up on face book this morning – she is too darn cute!.
5. Love Val’s latest blog on snacking sabotage – she is so on it!!
Tuesday – Day 9
Oy Vay!!! another tough night – WTH – only 75% compliant… I was good until after dinner…
I really need to get my head in the game here – so disappointed…
Ok enough of that – did get ab workout in this morning, will get another in tonight… might even do the $30 treadmill since Mark will have clients in the gym –
Tried the yogurt in my shake – I really don’t like it so I guess I will go back to my protein shake… oh well, I tried…
Food –
Egg whites/ green beans
fage smoothies
5 shrimp / 2 cups of salad and brown rice
snack – apple and almonds
good grief – my boss is in town and just “invited” Beth and I out to dinner…. well I already know I will have chicken and salad – so I’m good – and no wine!

Hard pressed for them today, but let’s see if I can come up with some…
1. Ah – made a personal decision today that I am very happy about
2. ooo – have on a new top that I absolutely love….
3. Made an appt for my car – finally – so I can get a sticker.. talk about waiting until the last-minute…
4. I woke up at 5:00 am today, which is ok – sat on the couch with a cup of coffee and my cats for about 30 mins – very peaceful…
5. I love that my office is filled with pictures of my family – especially the little chick – makes me smile every time I look at her sweet face –
Wednesday – Day 10
Really busy at work today – but 5 positive things are a must!
1. Weather today a “10”!
2. Boot camp was amazing this morning – weather was perfect, nice and cool…
3. May have my mom come up to house sit while we are away in Maine!! Then I won’t have to worry about, cats, house or plants and can just relax and…
4. Went for a 3 mile walk – yeah!!
5. Two more days until I am on the beach – woo hoo!!
Workouts! boot camp and 3 mile walk –
Food – 10 so far….. no junk – next 2 days will have to be perfect food wise to hit my goal – keeping my fingers crossed!!
Thursday – Day 11
I don’t know what happened but my mood is through the roof today!! Maybe it’s because …
1. there is only 2 more days until Maine,
2. maybe it’s because Joyce is definitely coming to house sit,
3. maybe it’s because the sun is shinning and it is another beautiful day,
4. maybe it’s because yesterday I was 100% on track.
5. maybe it’s because I’m having another good hair day
6. maybe it’s because I like what I’m wearing
7. maybe it’s because even though I had to take my husbands really old car to work today – his radio works 10 times better than mine and I heard some oldies but goodies!
what ever it is – I am liking it – big time!
Yesterday food and workout was a 10!!! shooting for another 10 today… did see 133 on the scale this morning up a few from Saturday – but as I mentioned before the weekend was a tad rough… lets see what I can do over the next few days by being 100 percent compliant, food and exercise wise…
Planned Exercise for the day –
AM ab workout
lunch 4 mile walk
PM ab workout and hopefully couch to cardio – which is about a 30 minute walk / run workout – easy right
Planned food –
breakfast – actually tried asparagus with my egg whites since I was out of green beans and found I liked it – not sure why I’ve been avoiding it all these years…
AM snack – Protein smoothie
Lunch 2 huge cups of salad, shrimp and 1/3 cup brown rice
PM snack – 15 almond and hopefully an apple – should go get one now..
Dinner 4 oz ground turkey, and salad.
Friday – Day 12
Wow – so yesterday ended up being a little different tha nI thought so here it goes… first – got my 4 mile walk in, but on the way back I was getting a really sharp pain in my calf, so I had to limp back – oy – then food wise – I ate my apple and almonds, but was still starving and ended up with a snickers —- not horrible, but with my calf hurting, I knew I wasn’t going to get a run in…. no worries right – then poor Jen called and finally realized she needed to put Tyson down – god rest his little soul…. so I got home, ate a turkey burger real quick on a very thin bun and ran over to my aunts to meet her – we brought Tyson in and they said it was the humane thing to do at this point – he probably had a brain tumor (kept walking in circles) and was skin and bones – even though he ate and drank water all the time – vet said he probably had cancer… I agreed it was time – and I think Jenn knew too, she’s had him for 13 years and knew she was being selfish keeping him… So after all was said and done, we went and had a few mai tai’s – needless to say – I was not 100 % compliant yesterday as I had planned…..
Today’s plan…
Boot camp this morning – done
4 mile walk at lunch
and abs tonight –
at this point my body is what it is…

salad / shrimp / brown rice

dinner fish and salad…..

1. boot camp was fantastic this morning – I really kicked my own butt – think I may have impressed hubby – not easy to do, since he knows when I’m slacking –
2. Beautiful beautiful sunny day
3. Leaving for Maine tomorrow!!
4. Check engine light is still off – need to hit 120 miles so I can get a sticker – if not – $800 plus for a new catalater converter…. If I can get a sticker I can put if off for a while longer – keep your fingers crossed for me girls…
5. Even though last night was a rough night and I may or may not have reached my 2 week challenge goal – I feel ok about it…. Like I said to Denise – life happens, sometimes we just have to go with the flow – why get down on yourself – just brush yourself off and start again right
