Sorry – I’ve kinda fallen of the blog wagon…. but sometimes life happens right? Ok – no changes this week…. wow – last week was tough – I think I need to step it up this week to see some results – drat! 

So plan for this week – although I’m not really concerned about losing lbs, I’m going to need to push it to get rid of inches… 

excercise…. Going to add outdoor sprints back in – (8) 70 yard sprints – 2 @ 30%, 2 @50%, 2 @70%, 2 @100%. (Tuesday and Thursday) Followed by 30 mins Monday boot camp, Wednesday AHB Sculpt and Friday – AHB Burn – Saturday – Leg workout… Extra Ab workouts.

Food – cutting out oatmeal in AM and replacing with veggies and fruit. So I’m going to add green beans to my egg whites, other than that,food will stay the same.

August 30 week 3 Day 1

Today a huge success!  No cheats and got in boot camp plus a 2.5 mile walk at lunch… Next up abs!

Food today – green beans and 1/3 cup of egg whites, am snack:(link will bring you to hubbies site where I posted the recipe and pics – enjoy) green smoothie, Lunch: 5 jumbo shrimp, 2 cups of salad and 1/3 cup of brown rice – pm snack: 1/4 cup raisins, 2 dark chocolate square and 15 almonds. Dinner: 4 oz of breaded chicken, 1 cup green beans and 1 cup of salad.  (see Day 2)

Water today probably 96 oz with lemon and lime in it – not to bad… for some reason the lemon in the water tends to curb my sweet cravings which I like, however not a fan of it – the lime gives it a little extra kick. So why lemons?

Water with lemon helps speed up weight loss. Drinking water with lemon for weight loss is also an effective way to help eliminate toxins, clean internal waste, and promote energy boosts. The pectin in lemon peel is an excellent source of fiber, which helps stop the body from absorbing sugar quickly. Pectin also helps eliminate cravings. (HA – I knew it!)

August 31 Week 3 Day 2

Workout – will have to be tonight…. sprints, then and extra 20 min of something to keep my heart rate up – maybe treadmill hike – maybe tabatas… who knows…Quarter end and super busy!

Sept 1 – Week 3 Day 3

Food: pretty much the same as yesterday – even dinner – will be leftovers…. not in the mood to over think it.

OK – talk about life getting in the way… Was stuck at work last night until 7:30 pm, got home at 8:00 pm ate a handful of cashews and about 3 oz of honey turkey in 1/2 multi grain pocket with mustard…. was starving, didn’t get my workout in, went to bed…. oh well – moving on….

So ladies – I have to tell you what two days of eating clean and drinking my lemon lime water has done for me… on Monday, I’m embarrassed to say, I was a whopping 135 lbs – although I knew it was water weight since my lower stomach measurement was up one full inch, everything else the same… This morning, got on the scale and was 132 lbs – you can not lose 3 lbs of fat in two days… which is why taking your measurement is key to keeping your sanity

Today – food exactly the same as yesterday up until dinner – tonight Sauce on left over chicken with green beans and salad. Edit: afternoon snack – came back from workout feeling a little shaky and hungry (again with the no almonds – good grief) bought a bag of trail mix – two trader joe bars and some dried fruit…. probably a few hundred more calories than I planned oh well… maybe I’ll try to get a walk in after dinner…. I can feel my body starting to fight the weight loss – It usually is the hardest between 127 and 132 – last 5 lbs or so… and final inches to be shed………. 5pm – gotta get out of here…

Workout – Sculpt workout with some extra cardio added in… Maybe 5 or 10 min jog to warm up -and extra 5 walk at end to cool down with stretching.

Sept 2 – Week 3 Day 4

Food today same as yesterday up to lunch – having my fav, quinoa pasta with sauce and a small salad – oh, and I DID remember my almonds… dinner tonight baked chicken, green beans and salad… I think I may need to go out for steak tomorrow – tired of chicken and shrimp… Edit: Ended up at outback tonight – had salad, bread, sweet potato fries, green beans, their delicious steak medallion (like a kabob) 4 pieces of steak, red/green peppers, and red onions… my new fav! Oh and 2 glasses of Coppola 😉

Workout was a bust again…. picked up some new responsibilities at work and well – you know how it is when you’re ramping up…. That is two times I missed this week… food was good – well, except for the two glasses of wine… If this keeps happening may have to revisit workout times…
