Ok – nothing beats the feeling of sliiiiiiding into a pair of pants you use to have to do the “pants dance” to get into!!! Ha – you ladies all know what I’m talking about… Lately I’ve been wearing a lot of Maxi dresses because my pants would not go over my hips, and today I tried on a pair of said pants, and they slid right on my – Wow – super excited. I was probably 80% with my food and exercise this week. VS20’s didn’t seem to happen nor did my upper body workouts…. I did get in yoga and my morning walks / runs – I love that they are a no brainer for me – thank you Miss Chula… I’m going to continue on with what I’ve been doing because one – I’m not killing myself and two – it’s working :-)…
On the Food front….Tuesday I think I finally found my rhythm… bought some steel cut oatmeal and made a batch for the week – mix with blueberries/apples and sliced almonds each morning for breakfast. Mid Morning snack Atkins bar (low sugar, carbs and calories), Lunch – finally got shrimp and salad back in the house, still my favorite lunch :-), afternoon – not overly hungry so have been waiting until dinner. Dinner – this has been a challenge – now I understand how you moms feel when you have to make something different for your family. Now that there are other people in my house my regular meals don’t seem to fly… they always want to mix things up, which is causing dinner to become a source of stress for me. What are we going to eat? does everyone like it? who’s cooking? UGH! Eventually we will get in synch – I hope… Which may be why I’m still having ice cream every night, well not ice cream from the stand, but frozen yogurt from the store – a better choice right?
Oh and my sister’s party – O-M-G …. Talk about FUN! I danced my butt off on Saturday night -WOW! Loved it 🙂
Now heading into week 3 – meaning 3 weeks until July 4th. It’s all about balance baby! Today I’m down .8 lbs and 1.50 inches!
