Breaking 140! Week 3 – self-realization…

Thumbs upDown another pound – 145 today… but no change in inches… hmmm – not sure what that is about, but I’ll take it!

I am going to start a 30 day squat challenge and start to do Valslide 20’s again (basically 20 forward lunges, side lunges with VS, reverse lunges with VS and curtsey lunges with VS one leg at a time) – can’t seem to get my butt motivated for much else right now – little by slow right 😉 I know I need to make constant changes in my routine in order to get results…. This week has been hard. I’ve been stuck working from home all week because my car has beeen in the shop – you would think that would allow me time to get into my home gym and work out – but the motivation just wasn’t there…. No car to hit kickboxing on Tuesday and the dogs were lucky they got out for their walks… Funny how that works isn’t it?

Lots going on in my head with what I want to do with my life – I am SO bored with myself right now… Down loaded a book on my kindle “The Success Principles” by Jack Canfield – author or the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and I LOVE it…. watch The Lost City of Z 2017 film online now

Part of transforming your body is self appreciation and love – believe it or not it helps reduce the cortisol level in your body, a stress hormone. When we’re under stress, the fight or flight response is triggered in our bodies, leading to the release of various hormones that can cause our bodies to store fat – mainly in the belly. This is why my program is called Body Transformation 101 – Beyond Diet and Exercise, because it really is beyond diet and excercise….

There are a couple of assignments I want to share with you from the book. First write down 30 things that you want, second write down 30 things you want to do, and third write down 20 things you love to do and how you can make time to do them…. Reading over my lists made my heart leap! Self realization time – ahhhhhhhhhh! In the end what I most desire is to have peace, to be loved, to travel, and to help others – not a ton on the material side … Of course – we all want a place on the beach right 😉 Personally – I want to down size and simplify my life so I can do the things I love and the things feel I was put on this earth to do. Volunteering is one and second I’ve been re-inspired to start working on my BT101- beyond diet and excercise program again. I was my happiest when I worked with Valerie Waters as a moderator in her Red Carpet Ready Club working with women daily to help them be the best they can be. My mission / goal is to teach women how to transform their body, mind and spirit and to love and nurutre themselves… This feels right to me… But first – I need to love and nurture myself. It’s very easy for me to deflect and focus my energy outside of myself. I can run, but I can’t hide – ha!

Last year was a huge year of change for me, this year is about self-love and discovery – after that – game on!
