My Best Body EVER!

 
 
Ok ladies – I’m feeling inspired right now, so this is the perfect time for me to give it my best shot… I’ve decided that this is going to be my last personal best body challenge… This does not mean that I’m not going to stay in shape, it just means I’m not going to take it to this level again. To keep me motivated I’ve booked a fun photo shoot 11/11/11, and have signed up for a 5k in Chicago 11/5/11.  This is to show all of you out there that not only can I be fabulous at 50, but you can too!
 
To prove just how serious I am about this I have decided to allow my husband Mark to test out his new program on me to help get me in shape – yes, I am that serious…. Below is an outline of my fitness workout, my 5k training program, my food and my beginning stats along with a few photos…. I will also get some full body shots in here soon, just need to pick up some booty shorts 😉
 

Workouts

Monday – 20 min pre boot camp workout / Boot camp
Tuesday – 5k training AM
Wednesday – 20 min pre boot camp workout / Boot camp / Svaroopa yoga PM
Thursday – 5k training AM
Friday – 20 min pre boot camp workout / Boot camp
Saturday – 5k training / intervals
Sunday – Rest

10/24 – C25K week 7
10/31 – C25k week 8 

 

Food
Breakfast – egg whites / asparagus
AM Snack – Green smoothie
Lunch – quinoa grain / salad / shrimp 3 days – salmon 2 days
PM snack – almonds / apple
dinner: 4oz of lean protein, 2 cups of veggies
