Here we are at week 2 – so how’d I do last week??
Well I bit off a tad more than I could chew and it was starting to burn me out by the end of the week – but I…
- Did work out 5 day – that is two weeks in a row
- Did do VS 600 and I liked it!
- Did not hit the vending machine at all
- Did get in two DA ab workouts
- Did do two days on elliptical
- Did do 1 night-time Zumba class
disappointingly even though I worked my butt off – I actually gained weight, but I do feel tighter if that makes sense AND I do understand why. Basically, I did not “really” watch my calorie intake, so this week I am going to cut out sugar completely – NO sugar at all…
Not that I’m making excuses but I have been under some stress lately, which has led to my not sleeping well, which makes me crave sugar and over eat carbs that turn into sugar…. so again – you CAN’T out train a bad diet – granted my diet isn’t horrible – but not conducive to actual weight loss… time to clean things up a bit.
Oh well – what’s done is done – onto week 2!!
So this week I decided to post my measurements … when I went back and reviewed my journal from a few years back I saw that I was frustrated that the weight was not falling off as quickly as I wanted, but I did loose inches…. so I need to take the power away from the scale and focus on physical results.
Waist – 27
Low waist – 31
Hips – 38
Thigh – 22.75
Goals for week
1. get to the gym Mon – Sat to include 1 vs 600, 2 home-brew and 3 cardio.
2. NO sugar this week – this may kill me
3. lose 1 pound
4. Weigh my food again
5. and be gentle with myself…
