Well – here is a little overview of our vacation – I wished I had another week to prepare, but for the most part I felt comfortable on the beach. I tried to enjoy myself, but not go overboard food-wise. We did go out to breakfast each morning and I feel I made pretty good choices – mostly egg white omelette’s and toast. AM snack brought to beach – fruit and nuts. Lunch was salad and roasted turkey, afternoon snack again, fruit and nuts… Dinners were mainly fish or lobster which I love – plus one adult beverage… Dessert – ice cream – sorry, ice cream at the beach is my weakness. We did do (2) two-mile walks a day – the one in morning was knee-deep in water, boy I could feel my butt and thighs burning here… When all was said and done I was only up 1.5 lbs when I got home, which I was ok with… This week has been a little tough detoxing my body from ice cream, etc., but I am doing it…
