Right off the bat I’m going to tell you that I require a 4 week minimum commitment. Why? Because it takes at least 30 days to change habits. If you are serious about this, and I know you are, this should not be a problem. After 4 weeks you will be able to continue on your own, but if you feel you want or need more support, then I am here for you. We can arrange for you to check back ever two, three or four weeks, whatever works for you.
So what is a coach? A coach is not a counselor, adviser, expert consultant or therapist – a coach is more of a motivator. As a coach I will assist you in identifying and clarifying your individual goals and desires. I will enable you to create a plan and take actions to achieve your objectives and your progress will be measured as your goals and objectives are achieved.
Step 1 – The interview …
This process takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours and is crucial to me getting to know you, and you me. Using a tool called the perspective circle we will discuss 6 very specific areas of your life – and because we are going to really focus on your health and fitness goals, we will also dig into the 6 subsets of the wellness area.
Next we will review all the information we gathered from the perspective wheel exercise to determine what your stronger and weaker points are. From there we will set priorities, discuss the step-by-step actions required, discover roadblocks, and develop a plan to overcome those roadblocks. All of this will enable us to create an action plan to help you reach your goals in each area. I have developed a journal that will allow you to track your progress daily, this journal is also a tool that will allow you to start your plan right away…
For the next 4 weeks we will review your progress through the notes in your journal, discuss any pit-falls, and your successes from the previous week. From there we will revise your plan as necessary.
This is a very exciting time in your life – so embrace it – and let’s get started on getting you the body you’ve always wanted!
