Trust me, I feel your pain. I’ve been there and done ALL of that. I beat myself up to no end, killed my self-confidence, my self-esteem. Honestly, at times I couldn’t even look in the mirror.
Which is why I created body transformation 101 – beyond diet and exercise. I found the things that were holding me back from losing weight and getting the best body I could have was BEYOND what I was doing. There was a missing piece to the formula, a secret nugget that I had to dig for, a deeper understanding of how all these pieces worked and fit together. Once I figured this out I was able to get results.
At age 50 I was able to get in the best shape of my life without killing myself … I know right!
For year’s summer was my personal nightmare. I didn’t want to wear short, and I definitely didn’t want to wear a bikini. I would wear long skirts, maxi dresses anything to cover up my body. I worked out, I ate the right foods, I did everything I was supposed to do or so I thought. One day I saw a picture my daughter took of me at the beach I could not believe how far I let myself go. That’s when I decided it was time to make a change. Being married to a personal trainer at the time I thought, I can do this, but the truth was I couldn’t do it alone. One thing I found out is you should never train with a spouse. So what did I do? I joined an on-line group which was a huge undertaking and expense for me, but I was desperate. In this forum I grew, I found magic. I quickly became a mentor in that group supporting and encouraging these women. Women who were having the same struggles as me, and because I had been there and had success, I was able to share my expertise with them. That’s where my journey began. That’s when I found what I was good at and what lights me up inside .
I was actually making a difference in women’s lives.
Besides being a health and fitness coach I am a licensed esthetician. If you want tips on skin care, especially aging skin, I’m your girl. I am a licensed massage therapist. Take care of your body and it will take care of you and I am a certified yoga instructor. The mind is a powerful tool, learn to control it and you will have control of your life. I’ve always had a love and been drawn to health and fitness. Aside from that I like to hike, kayak and camp with my sassy little dog Chula Bella. This little beast lights up my life!
