Ummm…. has anyone seen my motivation???

Ugh – I feel like Austin Powers when he lost his Mojo… Really I know what it is – it’s all life’s little stressors ganging up on me and pulling me here and there, and there and there ….. 😉 I just feel completely overwhelmed, overworked, and over it!

So… what am I going to do about it???— No really, what should I do??

Ha – gotcha! Ok, part of me was serious…. so let’s figure this out together – first – deep breath in and out,  move your head side to side…  ok…. Where to begin?? Hmmm – Ooo I know, let’s play a little word game…. grab a piece of paper and write down anything that pops into your head that is positive, that makes you feel happy, that moves you, or provokes some kind of good vibration.

Here are some of my words –

  1. Breath
  2. just be
  3. peace
  4. feel
  5. have fun
  6. Dare to dream
  7. connect
  8. laugh
  9. create
  10. grow
  11. knowledge
  12. strength
  13. play
  14. move
  15. Trust
  16. Faith
  17. Hope
  18. Live
  19. Love
  20. Happiness

How is your list coming ? I think my list is telling me to lighten up…. to breath, to dream, to create, to laugh and to have fun – I think my list is telling me exactly how to get exited, re-energized and yes, how to get re-motivated! I can  feel it all the way down to my toes, and I can see there are things I can do that will get me my mojo back! Here is what I mean…

For instance, just be – is to sit and close my eyes in the quiet, feel my breath flow in and out of my body, and feel connected to myself. A great place to start – right? Dare to Dream – if I could do anything or go anywhere, what would I dare to dream…. well, I would be able to make a living helping women be sucessful in their health and fitness journey full time, I’d tour, I’d speak – I would create my own schedule – now that’s a daring dream 😉 or even better – be some fabulous persons Julie McCoy – that I would completely Rock  –  but for right now I’m working on re-launching this website, and improving my Body Transformation class which require me to use my mind, be creative, do research, and gather more information to help my clients be as successful as they want to be… Oh and yes, I would be on the beach somewhere too…. Move – have you ever noticed that moving your body feels good? Just by stretching or walking you are waking up your muscles. Starting slow and then building up to the point where you break through that endorphin barrier is such a rush – now that is where my happy place is. Laughter, having fun, playing -what is it that makes you giggle people, besides the word giggle (love that word Mandy) – hearing my granddaughter laugh does if for me and animals – yes animals – have you ever been to a dog park? I have with my sister and her dogs – and OMG you cannot help but smile and laugh and be playful yourself as they run as fast and as hard as they can past you almost knocking you down. I swear there is a look of pure bliss and joy on their little doggie faces that you cannot help but get caught up in.

Ok – all this chit chat has motivated me to do something – I think Oscar and I are going to go to the dog park for a while and then we’ll see – 000 and looks like there is a belly dancing class in the area tonight!! Woo hoo!!

So – Did your list motivate you to do something?? I’d love to hear what it is…
