Pre-spring mini challenge week 6….

Oh no I can’t believe I only have two weeks left!  How did that happen? Wow – this week was VERY difficult…. My mother-in-law is in the hospital and WAS on life support – they were finally able to take her off yesterday after 10 days – we are all very thankful!! My sweet granddaughter has been sick with a stomach flu – poor little chick isn’t even one yet, then of course work has been busy as we are closing in on the end of quarter, and night sweats are kicking my butt this week – – yada, yada – you get my drift.

Regardless, I did get my workouts in everyday – Sunday hubby kicked my butt – it wasn’t a long workout, but it was intense! Monday and Wednesday – got my cardio in, and Tuesday and Thursday did do workouts created by hubby. Nothing like walking out of a workout knowing you pushed as much as you could…. Finally “feeling” some movement in my clothing… was mindlessly getting dressed the other day and suddenly realized I was able to pull my pants up without doing the little dance – you know “wiggle it just a little bit” 😉  and I actually feel lighter – I’m liking it!

OK – so how’d I do?

Starting weight – 136.2 – 135.6… down .6lbs!!

  1. 3 weight resistance workouts (Sun, Tu and Th)  / 3 cardio sessions in (Sat, M and W) with Friday off.  – Yup!
  2. Take it easy on myself – although I like to think I am, I am not wonder woman. – hmm not sure I did this….. I really need to lighten up on myself… but how??
  3. To be in the 135s. – YES!

My goals / commitments for this week

  1. Continue with my 6 workouts a week – ooo Marky just gave me a new plan – looks a little scary…
  2. Get up early and spend 15 minutes stretching and waking up / before bed stretch and wind down
  3. Lose .5 – 1.0 lb
  4. Do something for myself daily and report back what it is – this is going to be really difficult….

I think that should do it!!
